And On the Third Day

The third day of Sail Racing PalmaVela looks set to be a cracker.

Considering that yesterday looked promising but in the end became a bit of a waiting game, the recompense should come today in the shape of a good W'ly gradient breeze generated by a low pressure system. Winds will be up to 20kts and all the way through the morning as the Sail Racing PalmaVela fleet headed out to race, the Bay of Palma was flecked with white caps in pleasant Spring sunshine.

The Classics fleet do their coastal race but otherwise its a regime of windward-leeward races on the other course areas.

In the Maxi72 fleet it is all very close with Momo leading by one point, in the Wally fleet it is a tie on points between Nahita and Ryokan. Aegir tops the table in IRC 1 as Music also does in IRC Classs 2. After four races for the ClubSwan 50 and the Swan 45s Earlybird leads the 50s and Elena Nova the 45s. Other class leaders Audax Energía (ORC 0-A), Il Corvo (ORC 0-B), Airlan Aermec (ORC 1), Just the Job (ORC 2), Yabadaba (ORC 3) and Diafreo Mallorca (ORC 4).
